What is your official job title at Ohio State? Clinical Value Analysis Manager
What department / college / unit do you work in? Value Analysis falls under Supply Chain.
How long have you worked at OSU?I have been at OSU since June of 2011, 12 years.
In your own words, describe your job here at Ohio State. Value Analysis has responsibility over several large categories. We review all new products that come into the Medical Center, recalls, product substitution approvals, implementation, and much more. We have a small but mighty team!
What do you love most about Ohio State? My goal when I came to OSU was to find job opportunity and professional growth. I personally found those things and I appreciate that about OSU. I love my team and the people I get to work with every day. Not only do I feel fulfilled in my career at this point in my life, but I also get to make an impact with great people working with me.
What is your favorite memory as a staff member at Ohio State? Too many memories to choose from, but all include wonderful people. Whether patient or employee, direct patient care or indirectly, just being able to help make someone's day a little brighter or collaborate with genuine people all working towards the same goal. Those interactions make for great memories!
What do you enjoy doing outside of work? My husband and I have two little girls, 6 and 2, and two German Shepherds. I very much enjoy spending time with them doing as much outside as possible. We enjoy boating, going for walks, swimming, riding 4-wheelers, and just being outdoors.
What is something that most people don’t know about you? My go to is always, I have a clinical background in Radiology. I worked in general radiology at Children's before I came to OSU and I worked in Interventional Radiology before I started in Supply Chain. However, outside of work, most people are surprised to find out that I crochet. It is my winter hobby.
What is your favorite quote, TV show, movie, or book? My team will tell you, "all the things" is my saying. :)
