In your own words, describe your job here at Ohio State. As an Academic Advisor I get to work one-on-one with our current business students in advising appointments, teach multiple sections of our program’s survey course, and co-supervise our peer-advisor program.
What do you love most about Ohio State? Although this may sound cliché, I truly love the people. During my short 3.5 years I have formed amazing friendships across campus, found phenomenal professional mentors, and learned from so many of the impressive students on this campus.
What is your favorite memory as a staff member at Ohio State? I actually really enjoy summer orientation season as an advisor. There is something really magical about the energy of new OSU students walking around on campus and getting excited about their future semester! 😊
What do you enjoy doing outside of work? Traveling the United States and England to see Taylor Swift at the Eras Tour! 😊
What is something that most people don’t know about you? This is so random, but I had a drink with Josh Hutcherson (Peeta from Hunger Games) at a bar in Kentucky once! 😊
What is your favorite quote, TV show, movie, or book? This may also be just as random as the above question, but my favorite movie is Titanic. My mom and I have actually watched it every Christmas Eve for the past 15 years. I am not exactly sure why that tradition started since Titanic is definitely not a holiday movie haha.
