- The University Staff Advisory Committee exists to ensure staff voices are heard at the highest levels. Since 1986, USAC has advised university leadership by advocating for staff needs and shaping key initiatives. - USAC fosters communication between staff and leadership while connecting employees to valuable resources, helping make Ohio State a workplace of choice. - USAC is a great way to meet and interact with other staff members throughout the enterprise. It's also a great way to advocate on behalf of yourself and your colleagues. - USAC makes me feel supported by fostering open communication with leadership and demonstrating our individual perspectives truly do matter. - I was motivated to join USAC because I wanted to make a difference. Being able to advocate for the staff has been a really rewarding experience for me. - USAC is made up of staff members all across our Columbus campus, our medical center, as well as our regional campuses. - Staff members can get involved with USAC by visiting our website, attending our monthly meetings, signing up for our newsletter, or emailing us. - USAC supports many professional development opportunities as well as staff recognition, including our very own Staff in the Spotlight program, which exemplifies what it means to be a Buckeye. - I know I speak for our entire senior leadership team in saying that the feedback and advice we get from USAC and all staff members help us make better decisions, and ultimately chart a stronger path forward for Ohio State. - As part of the university's Senate Steering Committee, USAC leaders collaborate with faculty, students and administrators, demonstrating the power of shared governance. Together we shape policies and decisions that impact the entire university community. - For more information or to get in touch, visit us at usac.osu.edu.
