Jason Homan

Jason Homan is a third-year USAC member, serving on the Governance Subcommittee. His work in USAC has included updating the committee’s Operations and Procedures manual, leading a task force to explore the opportunity to establish a staff ombuds office, and facilitating Staff Senator and external committee selection processes. Since 2022, he has worked as an Event Manager in the Office of Academic Affairs. Prior to that, at Ohio State he worked as a Program Coordinator in the Office of Outreach and Engagement and as a Regional Engagement Officer for the Alumni Association. He also spent time in upstate New York, working at Discover Schenectady and Siena College. He earned his Bachelor of Arts in Strategic Communication from Ohio State in 2013, and a Master of Science in College Student Personal from Western Illinois University in 2016. Jason is just one part of a large family and grew up in Chickasaw, a small town in rural northwest Ohio. He enjoys riding his bike, playing with his two cats, and gardening.
