Shannon Hand
Shannon Hand is the Clinic Office Manager at the OSU Speech-Language-Hearing Clinic. She began her career in that position in 1995 and puts assisting students, patients, staff and faculty in the field of speech and hearing as her top priority. Community outreach is a very important role of hers as well. Her passion to help in the process of improving communication skills for a diverse and inclusive population is what drives Shannon to stay dedicated to the Department of Speech and Hearing Science. She was appointed to USAC in 2022 and is co-chair of the Outreach and Engagement Sub-Committee. Her committee membership also includes Ohio Staff Council of Higher Education. Outside of her OSU life, Shannon enjoys photography, hiking and exploring places around the globe.
