The University Senate is the shared governance body that helps the university function as a unified institution. Faculty, students and staff come together with university administrators to develop and advise on policies, processes, programs and solutions for issues facing the university.
USAC has the privilege to elect 5 staff senators, who serve a 2 year rotating term with a recruitment window starting in early spring.
2024 Staff Senator Recruitment
In Spring 2024, USAC has the opportunity to appoint (3) Staff Senators and up to (3) Staff Senator Alternates to the University Senate. If interested, please review the relevant information included below, and submit your application by Tuesday, April 30 at 5 p.m.
