Karie Kennedy

Karie Kennedy is a Senior Compliance Specialist in the Office of Research Compliance. In that role, she works as part of the Conflict of Interest team to support the Conflict Approval Committee. She has been at Ohio State for 15 years, having spent most of that time in the Office of Sponsored Programs. She worked in Accounts Payable and Grants Accounting for 6 years and in the Office of Grants & Contracts for 9 years. Her work with federally funded grants and non-profits inspired her to enroll at the John Glenn College of Public Affairs, receiving her Master of Public Administration in 2015.

In her spare time, Karie enjoys spending time with her family, including her husband Andrew, two young children, and their pets Lucy the dog & Milo the cat. They like to take walks and explore metro parks in the Columbus area. She is a self-proclaimed foodie who loves trying new recipes and restaurants around town. She loves to travel, and her favorite destination was a 2-week trip spent traveling through New Zealand and Australia.
