Kate Quickel

Kate Quickel serves as Assistant Director of Community Partners within External Affairs' Constituent Experiences team. In this role under the Community Philanthropy and Engagement unit, she supports community-led fundraising events and initiatives benefiting The James and the Wexner Medical Center.

An experienced marketing, events, and fundraising professional, Kate has been with Ohio State for over 13 years, starting at WOSU Public Media before transitioning to her current role. She holds a bachelor’s degree in communication and media studies from DePauw University and earned her MBA from Ohio State’s Fisher College of Business. 

Kate is also the host of Broad & High, WOSU’s Emmy Award-winning arts and culture television show airing on PBS. Beyond her campus role and media work, Kate enjoys baking delicious treats, going on adventures with her husband, two boys, and their Bernese mountain dog, and listening to audiobooks.
