Natalie Jordan
Outreach and Engagement Subcommittee Member
Natalie’s first experience as an OSU employee dates back to 2006 when she started as a student employee working in the Department of Recreational Sports in the Office of Student Life. Upon graduating with a degree in Interior Design, she worked in the private sector for a healthcare design firm. In 2016, Natalie returned to OSU, as an Interior Design Planner for the Wexner Medical Center Space and Facilities Planning Department. She worked on large and small renovation projects across the medical campus for 5 years. She helped with a renovation of the NICU which led to an opportunity to work as a Project Manager for Nationwide Children’s Hospital. It was just over a year after making the change to NCH that she realized her heart and her community were still at Ohio State so she came back in 2023, as a Senior Project Manager for Facilities Design & Construction. In this role, she currently manages the renovation projects that are required to open the new University Hospital Tower.. As those projects wind down, she is looking forward to taking on new projects that will improve the experience and outcomes for patients, visitors, and staff at the medical center through the built environment. Joining USAC was important to Natalie so she can use her problem-solving skills & process improvement mindset to listen, engage, and advocate on behalf of staff so everyone will love working at OSU as much as she does!
Her husband, Andrew, also works at OSU for the Alumni Association, and their three teenage children all hope to be Buckeyes someday too! Natalie stays active by spectating and participating in ALL the sports (baseball, golf, soccer, basketball, volleyball, and track!) and she enjoys the many opportunities travel sports have provided to see new places around the country as a family.
