Nicole Craven

Nicole Craven serves as the Director of First Year Experience in the Office of Undergraduate Education and has worked at Ohio State since 2005. She has dedicated her career to advancing student success through innovative programming, collaborative partnerships and meaningful opportunities for student engagement.

In her current role, Nicole leads university-wide initiatives that support students during their transition to Ohio State and throughout their first year. She works closely with partners across campus to align resources, programs, and services that foster student success. Nicole deeply values collaboration and appreciates connecting people and ideas to solve shared challenges. Above all, she is passionate about creating environments where students feel connected, supported and empowered to make the most of their Buckeye experience.

Outside of work, Nicole and her husband, Brian, enjoy hiking and eating their way throughout the country and the world. In her free time, she also loves reading, indoor cycling, and cheering on the Buckeyes.
