Sarah Rainwater

Sarah Rainwater began her Buckeye journey in 2021 and currently serves as the Director for Project Management and Initiatives in the Office of the Dean within The Ohio State University College of Medicine. In this role, she partners closely with executive leadership, department chairs, faculty, and administrative teams to advance strategic priorities, enhance operational effectiveness, and foster cross-functional collaboration. Prior to joining Ohio State, Sarah held a variety of project management and student support roles across higher education institutions and nonprofit organizations, developing a passion for helping people and organizations achieve their goals.

Outside of work, Sarah enjoys caring for her ever-growing collection of plants, getting lost in a good book, enjoying board games with her partner and daughter, or serving as the unofficial referee to two energetic and mischievous pups.
